Your honour, thats part of your job ! Thats part of what you are paid for !
And if you are evaluating performance to objective and having a frank discussion, your reportee comes up with a fair judgement himself !!

Performance appraisal is actually a very humbling task. It makes you ask yourself the same questions that you ask of others.
